A question asked is never dumb. A question NOT asked is dumb. :)

It has to do with funds available for trading. I sold many shares in AMZN last week... which is why I was able to buy so much this morning (profit margins are higher than my calculations of AMZN stock... even if it were to hit $1500 all of the sudden). As I own hundreds of shares of AMZN stock, I chose to sell more... knowing it would hit my account with an upgrade to a wire transfer form Morgan Stanley.
