He has eliminated some board members and employees.
He has eliminated all bonuses and reduced the operating budget by $1M.
He has purchased a new production facility and renovated it and has installed production machines in it.
He has added MIM to the product line.
He has add a lower cost option of LM to the product line.
He is in process of lowering the materials cost by 50-80% which will open the door for many customers.
He is working in China to set up JV's to create a mass production eco system to be able to handle large contract orders.

In short, he is doing everything that needs to be done to get this company production ready. Which it clearly wasn't before he arrived.
