I hear ya and agree. And thank you for a well thought out reply.

My concern lies in Gro3 being a “system”. I’ve worked for very large organic farming cooperatives. We would constantly be solicited with organic “systems” or certified organic fertilizer formulations. Our farmers never bought it. Organic farming isn’t really about manufactured systems it’s about mitigating loss by addressing specific deficiencies through specific applications on a ever changing basis. So, this also takes knowledge, labor, and time. Something our farmers did not wish to circumvent because our old world methods of farming were exactly what we marketed and sold to top grocery retail outlets in the NE/mid Atlantic. And exactly what allowed us to take large market shares away from the more systematic, corporate type organic operations.

Anyway, all that being said. I understand I am coming from a niche of a niche perspective. So, my concerns aren’t enough to be dissuaded from the Gro3 aspect. I do understand the value of a “system” that does circumvent the time and labor aspects to a truly sustainable, organic farming approach. And large operations will want to cut cost anyway they can to get to that label.

I guess I’m just thinking because there’s nothing else to do :) thanks for entertaining!
