Thanks. I’m headed out but wanted to reiterate my appreciation for relaying your phone call from NWBO.

I thought I’d take this opportunity to relay something positive before I leave for the weekend. A week or so ago, our year old dog/puppy jumped/cleared the back of our couch to try and grab my ski hat. She knocked a coffee mug out of my hands and my MacBook Pro went out like a light when the liquid hit it. I went to some authorized dealers, but they all wanted to sell me a new computer and said my machine was lost. Thereafter it came back to life a couple times, but ultimately I could not turn it on anymore nor charge it. I went to one last place, an UNAUTHORIZED Mac repair store, and for a hundred bucks they said they’d clean it internally with alcohol and remove any visible corrosion plus check the battery. My MAC is alive and well, thanks to the efforts of a less institutionally oriented business. We all use various devices to post, so I thought this a useful and positive note to end on before the weekend.
