I might add, when I told him what my broker told me, that Okapi told me that some of the numbers they have do include the name of the beneficial owner while others only show street name - he did not know why. I speculated that perhaps those brokerages that were being used for naked shorting only report the street name while those that are not involved in naked shorting can and often do report the beneficial owner's name as well. He replied he had no knowledge about naked shorting.
