I think not. Just tuned in to Brian Williams. A couple of his guests said they don't think Trumpty wants to go off to his big celebration of his first year in office, with very rich people there to suck up to him, the day the government shuts down.

They think he'll call in congressional leaders in the morning, give them enough to cut a deal, and then announce it to great fanfare. And fly off to Florida, hero of the day.

That seems plausible to me.
