Words have meaning, Every report on earnings I've read says something similar to, "The company generated $XXXX income ..." RJDG's PR says, For the fiscal year 2017, RJD Green created revenue of $3,714,472

I suggest that "Created" is a proper description. Created out of whole cloth, to be more precise!!
