...ran out of posts last night...couldn't reply...and apologize for the length of this essay but I couldn't find a way to say it all in a couple of sentences.

I can't dispute anything you said and what you said all makes sense. When I posted, I was thinking more along the lines of this >>

For conversation sake, let's say they had serious talks with 10 companies and 3 of them are willing to give them orders. What could affect the cost of the phones are any changes which a customer "demands" and ANDI mgmt has an obligation to carry out due diligence to get it right. >>

Company #1) We want our logo here, not there...and we want it larger than the size you are presenting.

Company #2) We want your IT guy to engineer software that is proprietary to us so we can claim exclusivity with certain apps. (In fact, all three companies could potentially "demand" that)

Company #3) We want six different colors and you are only offering 5.

That could be the short list.

I am making all that up because I wasn't there, but I was in production management throughout my career and I've witnessed this first hand. I sat in many meetings with sales execs, finance admins, and the like. In one meeting in which a very large potential customer was making some crazy demands -- and wanted his demands met almost immediately -- our CEO (who could be arrogant at times) stood up at one point and pulled out that old saying "Look pal, we can handle the impossible, but miracles take us a little longer."

I agree with you that Mike Starkweather and the IT guys are competent enough to have had everything prepared and right in front of them before pitching to potential customers last week. I agree because Darryl Green wouldn't be "hanging out" with them otherwise.

All I'm saying is that folks should calm down here. We are already seeing the usual frustration from certain IHUB'rs >> "WE WERE ALL EXPECTING NEWS THIS WEEK...WHERE IS IT!?!?!?" I read that stuff and move on.

The other thing I'm saying >> When Darryl Green says "...we have final reviews to complete and will announce accordingly..." -- maybe that is simply a signal that although they have a LOI for a P.O. in hand -- he can't release any news about it officially until all the changes have been met to satisfy the customer...and verifying that the manufacturer can accommodate what the customer wants -- AND -- what do the changes do to the cost of manufacturing. The customer/customers may have asked for changes that forced ANDI mgmt. to review more than one item, not the least of which is any changes in manufacturer cost of production runs...first run, second run, etc.

As you say >>"Sales is about delivering promises and busting your ass to deliver on those promises" -- you are correct and that is exactly what should happen. If ANDI doesn't take care of the customer, someone else will.

I hope as you do we get news this week or next. Maybe we will. But if we don't, there may be a very good reason. Now, if I'm correct, (maybe not), it wouldn't hurt for Darryl or Mike to tweet or release a short PR to give a bit more detail??? >> "We have a P.O. in hand and we are finalizing some changes in product to provide the exclusivity our customer/customers are asking for."

But what do I know? Nothing...simply offering an alternative to "THEY SAID THIS AND THEY SAID THAT AND WHY AREN'T THEY DOING WHAT THEY SAID!?!?!?"

Personally, I like that Green said "...will announce accordingly..." -- and like what he didn't say >> "We will release news about orders this week" He and Mike are smart for not promising shareholders news deadlines, especially with initial orders.

GLTY...GLTA.
