OK.. but in the past with scottrade, I have seen the trading halted due to symbol change. Say DGKO to VPFV, after the symbol change DGKO was DGKO# for 2 days then VPFV showed up and I could only sell then.

I am not saying the trading will be halted w.r.t the stock but the broker will not allow trading in the stock till he get all he needs to post the new symbol in our account.

Correct me if I am wrong.
