My favorite cap is a winter one that I've had for 40 years now. It is black with the the embroidered letters CDTU on the cuff. Me and Mrs. Med still wear it on the coldest days or if we just need to channel.

My great uncle gave it to me with his stories from the wars and his love of golf.

How he grew up during the depression and somehow carved a life for himself and my most lovely Aunt that made other people think they were rich.

He's one of the reasons we have catholic food lockers and never wanted any fanfare.
