Does anybody know if Steve Davis is deceased?

I can not imagine after years of serious postulating his well you know position regarding his $10,000.00 investment which should have lead him to own %50 of the Goldstrike mine as well as the Pascua Lama project, he would have given up these claims; must be dead!
