While he didn’t say anything more on the matter (which makes everything I said pure conjecture) possible scenarios were discussed in the board. The one that makes most sense to me is that the play he is looking at is risky, and while it could go very well, it could also set back everything he worked for in AMFE for the past years. Spinning off IK and making a new ticker allows him to make the play without affecting AMFE. So assuming the worst case scenario (which is that the new company fails miserably), both AMFE and ourselves will be unaffected because it happened to a stock not related to our own.
