Many Wall Streeters are probably watching whether BA splits. Several issues are involved. BA would probably like to forget splitting. No one gives a damn about small investors anymore. And Boeing doesn't sell to consumers.

OTOH, Boeing, at say $500, would really dominate the Dow average which is price weighted (not cap weighted) which may have made sense long before computers.

Another option: Could Dow boot BA from the average? (for being too successful? LOLOL!)

My *GUESS* is BA will split.
