You are correct about that but at the same time, if you had people who put up money on your side of the table, they couldn’t help but feel like You didn’t choose the right partner!
You are then in the unfortunate position to have to explain away the lost opportunity!
And yes you can try and deflect in an attempt to look blameless but the people on your side will see that as excuse making and certainly if their money was lost, will hold you accountable!
