CNBC just did a shot from Wenatachee, WA the Bitcoin mining capital of the US, MC Cabrara in the back server room, 1800 Chinese made servers about half the size of a shoe box. They try to mine 5-7 Bitcoins per day, the 1800 servers equal the power used in 11k homes per day, The company hopes too quadruple Bitcoin production by the summer and expand power consumption to 42 MW from the 7MW that they use per day. Each server costs $10k, The reason they are in WA is for the ample hydro power from the river. This stuff blows my mind!
