Dune - I totally agree with your post. In regards to major sponsors, I believe when they sign a network deal, a lot of sponsors will be provided by the network itself. In fact, I think that once a network becomes involved, they pretty much dictate most of what is involved around the show, including who will be the sponsors. I was just asking a question about the quality of the networks.
Would it be better for them to sign with a cable network, such as "Speed", "TNT", "ESPN", "FX", etc,etc, or would it better for them to sign with a prime broadcast network such as "FOX", "NBC", etc. I would think that a cable network would be better because broadcast networks are very ratings conscious, and could drop the show in the middle....just a thought !
