Going to do the jug method this year myself on some green house plants. I was thinking just using a drill bit for holes be faster? Going to experiment with how long it takes to drain out per how many holes installed.

Got two loads of wood chips been starting the process of moving into garden. Was thinking I might experiment with mixing them with my straw in the chicken run also.

I may wait this year till next winter to clean out run placing straw in garden rows I like them to for sure break down enough before planting and thinking I need to save my body for my job instead. Some day thinking about placing chicken run in garden area but that would require more fencing and moving coops. But it's long ways to wheel that straw from run to garden area. As time moves on I need to get smarter about how I do thinks to save my body for my job. Wish I was retired then it would be just fine not have to worry about saving my body for my job.
