The shoot packs are not required. The fibers or thread we sent them enabled the Army to know that these are usable fibers. The fibers were all the "deliverables" required to complete requirements for the original baseline agreement.

This means research is funded but still we have no idea if DS is going to be used by the Army and if this funding can be used for paying Warwick to make shoot packs. On that front excepting the fibers as completing the baseline contract is a negative for us shareholders that want to see shoot packs delivered for testing. Testing a shoot pack needs to happen so we can start data sheets, and get % improvement with any new fibers. Doesn't look to me like KBLB is going to absorb the costs of getting the shoot packs made.

"to dramatically increase the total contract value gave us the ability to boost our research and development efforts substantially,” said Jon Rice, COO."

In order for people to know if this is investment worthy, we would need to know the Army's cap on research, not that there is simply a dramatic increase. Apparently the Army does not want us to publicize those numbers. So now the Army is our now running the company in more ways than one. As I said before, dealing with the Army isn't always a good thing for investors, at least until they place orders for product.

This is probably just a CRADA agreement. I say just, because we aren't getting needed details. Without the value of the contract, it is another harmful PR. Yes the Army is coming to us do something no one else can do in creating new fibers, but for this company to thrive we need be able to see how (in this case) the Army values our research. Not going to happen.

We don't know the future of DS. We don't know if there are still plans to get shoot packs done. Does anyone else want DS? Are we still in production of DS? Why?

The Army folks aren't business folks and they need to assist companies in staying in business. This requires not being so secretive.

Our research is funded, great. But I am not investing to make money for research. This is a private endeavor that requires profits so we can accomplish our goals, not the Army's. The Army is an overall positive thing, as all production and company costs are probably being funded, but we need news that boosts the share price and isn't more or less rewording of previous PR.
