Amarin intends to pilot test new promotional initiatives for potential broader application following REDUCE-IT results



"Pilot test" does not necessarily denote radical unheard of paradigm never before used in commerce that could conceivably rend the fabric of the Space/Time continuum if applied unwisely. Totally new? Seriously? How many people since the beginning of time were highly motivated to sell something.
I've seen "Buy One...Get One FREE!!!" used to sell homes. It could also mean trying different direct to consumer promotions which is totally new for V. Pilot test 'cuz finding out what works best and works the least always makes sense.
