My experience, for what it's worth, would lead me to believe that when there's a steep drop in share price and there's no bad news, that it's usually manipulation. I would guess in this instance it's a run of the mill bear raid enacted to allow lower price entry to take advantage of divvie payout. I would be mildly surprised if shares don't rebound today or in the near future.
