My logic on this is:

1: the announcement of the divided should have drove the share price of PTGEF up (the dividend creates incentive to buy).

2: once the dividend is distributed, the value of PTGEF would drop considering PTGEF's holding in BHVN is where some of their value is derived.

unfortunately, I am a little baffled as to why we've seen such a dramatic drop in PTGEF share price 1 day before the dividend cut off.
