Consider the "crayon KM OS" curve that Senti drew I while back (I do like that for expressing this concept).

It shows a hypothetical treatment vs comparator with both curves tracking to just past median and subsequently the treatment going near level. This would report no difference in median, with a huge difference in HR.

In reality her example showed a 50% chance of a true cure, and this huge benefit was only captured in H/R, not median.
