Plenty of room before the end of the year.

I was holding back a bit this week waiting to see what happened with the 3GPP standards meetings that started on DEC18 through the 21st in Lisbon, Portugal. They came through with new standards it is now being reported - 6 months earlier than expected. This meeting was attended by all the big players internationally as well as U.S., including the ones we focus most on here although not Fibertower personnel.

So while we wait to see if things break loose before the end of the year - which only leaves us next week, I know, here are a few news stories I am thinking about tonight.

These standards may move the thinking forward at the FCC, even before the end of the year so they can claim another accomplishment going into the New Year. Would be excellent.
