Good point Jim. Though, unfortunately, I think this is bad news (rather than a sign of some impending good news). That is, it appears that Ericsson is not going to file an opposing brief, making IDCC deal with this issue on its own. It certainly would have made a stronger statement to the court if both parties opposed the release. I'm actually surprised Ericsson is not responding.

Note: I thought the motion to extend may have covered Ericsson, but I just went back and reviewed it and, on its face, it applies to IDCC only.
