The action today is most likely due to the BIIB failure but it looks like there's a decent amount of short covering going on. Given the ongoing rumors of a B/O by Biogen, their announcement simply emphasizes that BIIB better get serious while they still can make a buy at below true value.
Hopefully, Missling doesn't try to play hardball for egoistic reasons.
Who knows...today might light the match.
