I believe this shows that Apple was/is(?) seriously interested in BMG and was working with multiple partners in its development. I don't think that Apple's doing so is necessarily an indication of lack of faith in LQMT's technology. Rather, it is an indication that Apple has the resources/money to work with both LQMT and Glassimetal.

We've known for some time that Glassimetal is a competitor of LQMT and this just proves it. Not ready to panic just yet.
