Some folks did some DD on LX retail early on but weren't able to find much that was definitively conclusive. What was uncovered, however, seemed to show that LX had it's hands in a lot of holdings and seemed to have access to a lot of money. I've always assumed that LX's intention was to move some of those holdings (e.g. Celeb Cream) into Omni . Paul had indicated to me early on when the acquisition was announced that money was not a problem for LX Retail.
