OT To my colleagues here on IHub

My wife, Carol, has been diagnosed with an invasive and aggressive form of breast cancer, with surgery scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, Aug. 28th. This will be followed by an aggressive treatment schedule of 12 weeks of chemotherapy and then radiation.

In order to be available to help meet Carol’s needs, I will be spending much less time following IDCC over the coming 3 months.

My commitment to this investment remains very strong. IDCC is the major portion of our family’s retirement accounts. I remain very comfortable with that position.

I sense that my friends here at IHub will not interpret my lack of posting as a lack of interest or commitment to my investment in IDCC. Knowing many of you personally or by email, snail mail or telephone, I am confident that you understand my need to place family values first. You are a wonderful community that I have come to appreciate greatly.

Your prayers for Carol’s complete and speedy recovery are greatly appreciated, of course.
