No problem really I guess. I am just probably putting myself in his place. Meaning, it would mean more to me to spend my last amount of time with family and friends. I realize that, no matter how much I have contributed, the world will go on without me. Seems kind of sad that being in the Senate would give someone more to live for, than sharing the end of one's life with family and friends.

But, to each his own I guess. Would you feel the same if it was McConnell?
