I read the for the iPhone X, the materials were selected in November.

I have written my thought previously that Apple would start out with Liquidmetal in the Watch. My original stainless steel Watch was all scratched up with only a couple of years worth of wear. It would be great to have one that is really scratch resistant as the Watch does not lend itself to having a protective case on it.
