Furthermore, to think that a change at the top makes all better ignores the other pressures on the company from the outside over the years, and still there, and it sets us up for more disappointment. Why do so many legislators of past then get hired as lobbyists by companies of all sorts? Not for their looks. Even a polished and efficient CEO and company knows where the power is at and how to address it...by hiring lobbyists and the right legal teams. BIEL cut through some of the muck and their mistakes with their legal team and the FDA experience they brought to finally get some change and approval. No new CEO that we could afford could have done that on their own.
