First post ever, and a shareholder (and reading here) for years. I agree uksausage about being cautious with demands for a new CEO, particularly with the long-term view that Andy has maintained.

I want offer an experience about another stock/company (not naming it) in the medical field. There were similar calls for a new CEO after years of little movement of the stock price. Like BIEL, there was increasing noise for a new CEO; many other similarities too numerous to mention. New CEO happened. Stock moved from pink sheet to NASDAQ. Stock plummeted further with CEO selling out to Japanese company after some months. Premium was nearly a 100% gain in a buy-out, for him and management, but not really for others given given how the price plummeted before the buy-out; long-time shareholders were burned.

Bottom line: Be careful what you ask for.

I'm sure there are many success stories out there as well just to be fair. But given the ANDA deal, let's look at the whole picture and note that stock price doesn't always correlate with positive things happening internally. And yes, I'm well aware of the history and mistakes of management.
