Special Counsel Robert Mueller is a highly ethical lawyer who believes strongly in the rule of law, that no man is above the law. Donald Trump feels very differently. He'll use the law to his benefit if he can. Mueller and his team are carefully and methodically building a case against Trump and his gang; subpoenas, interviews, working from the outside and moving in. A smart strategy.

My one fear: If Mueller builds a case against Trump and his pals, and seems ready to charge, indict, can Trump call up the National Guard or the Army, men with assault weapons, and place Mueller under house arrest or worse, citing "national interest" concerns, thus negating Mueller's work and legal threat to the Trump camp? I can see Trump doing this without hesitation. Anybody have any thoughts on this?

Germany was a Christian nation. Adolph Hitler and his sick pals took power and did as they pleased. There was no Rule of Law. Jews, blacks, gays were rounded up. Families were torn apart. Millions were sent to concentration camps. Still more millions were murdered. No warrants, no concern with the law and individual rights. I see Trump similar to these pathologically sick, pugnacious power seekers. They all, finally, were caught and severely punished for their actions. But only after millions were murdered and those who survived were emotionally crippled, destroyed for life. We can't let it happen again. Ever.
