Still think there will be a 2017 trial date?

Trials don't start at the tail end of the holiday season. People want to go home from work early, spend time with their families, travel -- unless you're in retail or law enforcement or something, a lot of businesses run skeleton crews for the few weeks in between Thanksgiving and New Years.

Here's another prediction: the trials probably aren't going to start in Q1 2018, either. The FDA has to approve everything and this takes time -- AVXL is one of many companies waiting in line, and then there's always back and forth that takes more time.

My guess is that the FDA offers approval of the trial design, etc, sometime late Q1 or early Q2. And the trials then begin late Q2/early Q3 with an end date sometime late Q4. We find out the results and, if successful, submit for approval Q1 2019.
