Saw this elsewhere on a board that discusses semiconductor stocks:

OT: If you, like me, visit the SemiAcccurate forums for tech news and discussion, beware that the forum now runs a script-based crypto-currency miner in the background, consuming all your CPU resources. To turn it off, run the "miner.stop()" command (in Edge, press F12 and click the "Console" tab, then enter the command).



Although I don't frequent SemiAccurate, I have to wonder what other sites are running such a ploy? How the heck would someone know?
