True. At the same time, however, investors are facing strongly negative headwinds coming from those having suffered the losses to which you refer. It may not be so long before others, such as myself, can point towards significant gains coming our way because we had a temporal advantage:

We could recognize the ongoing compression pushing this stock price down with dramatic force and sense the time to begin accumulating is drawing near. Too, I'm not going to be dogged in hot pursuit by that pervasive sense of immanent failure wrought of doom that brought significant losses to holders earlier than I.

The catalyst for many is the lure of the high yield. Yet the rest of us know that the yield must change once the company cuts distributions. And we will waken to a fine opportunity close at hand when that occurs.

For me, personally, it's not at all about the yield. Yield chasers are more vulnerable than those whose reliance upon nimble trading methods looms far larger. On the other hand, I've witnessed numerous occasions that had nimble traders face wipeouts, too. lol

It happens on both sides of the coin. Yet having choices adds much value to the life of a stock market purveyor.
