It was pretty clear that the trials were not going to start in 2017. Nothing changes, it's a nonevent if they start tomorrow or next month or next year, but Dr. Missling all but telegraphed there would be delays in his more recent statements. Mostly, that Anavex is at the whim of the FDA.

I spent the early part of my career working with agencies, and they take forever. The term red tape exists for a reason.

I maintain that trials will begin early Q2 of 2018. Q1 will be a lot of back and forth between Anavex's new FDA guy and his former colleagues, trying to get all of the minutia sorted out.
