The dielectric platform is a much more predictable technology to produce as the level of development required is a small fraction of the complex GaAs epi stack. I believe the timelines are very achievable and based on the progress in the development of their designs. The product roadmap now is solid and I believe they will be making deals (or have made deals) with many large companies based on dielectric integration. Volume plus profit margin is in my opinion going to ramp up very quickly as will the share price.

I agree with this poster, the same goes for LWLG P2IC Polymer Platform which is now in the "demonstration phase", if you listen to Dr Lebby's presentation from the June Netherlands Photonics Roadmapping conference he showed slides of the future challengers having the ability to break through the upcoming Industry roadblock for meeting price/performance metrics, and Dielectric and Polymer Photonics were the 2 up & comers that he presented

Maybe one day this message board will come back to life if we get some news on the Dielectric platform
