Not NEAH. NEAH is not in the Battery500 Consortium which is leading the way in Vehicle Battery Development.

NEAH is basically getting Battery Materials characterized by Argonne, which may help their battery development but they are in no way involved in the EV battery push.

Look in this document with its Multiple Labs and Universities and Companies participating and see if you see anything about NEAH. Next year we can do it again.

as per Battery Cost

"The price GM is paying LG Chem for the Chevy Bolt EV battery cells, which they disclosed at $145 per kWh for the first year of production."

The future of Batteries is the Battery 500 Consortium which NEAH is not a part of.

https://energy.gov/technologytransitions/articles/battery500-consortium-spark-ev-innovations-pacific-northwest-national

They are looking at Lithium - Metal from the above article.

"Battery500's aggressive goal is to develop lithium-metal batteries that have almost triple the "specific energy" found in the batteries that power today's electric cars. Specific energy measures the amount of energy packed into a battery based on its weight. Because electric vehicles (EVs) need to be lightweight to drive farther on the same charge, EV batteries with high specific energies are essential."

Trying to make it look Like NEAH is leading the charge is very mis-informational.
