General/Typical Q4 product releases are for tapping into the holiday shopping sales/revenue, it can be a huge revenue generator for any product to market. On the other hand a pre-release of a product to be shipped 4 months later doesn't put the product in the consumers hand when they actually need/want it, so doesn't entice holiday purchases, extremely limiting its effectiveness at generating sales in the quarter (that's a botch). A product pre-order release doesn't make sense if it can't get to the consumer when they want it. That said, simply releasing it at the start of Q1 would have sufficed, or how about officially releasing the product for purchase and immediate shipping at the start of Q2?! What is the difference if you are unable to tap into the holiday sales market, the need for capital? Furthermore, it doesn't matter what color, size, shape, gender, health status, etc, when my brokers expectations are constantly incorrect over and over and over and over and over, he will be an unemployed broker fairly swiftly. On the other hand, if my brokers expectations comes to fruition more than 50% of the time, they could be a chipmunk or a moth, doesn't matter, they will be a successfully employed work-from-home chipmunk or moth.
We should be taking responsibility for our wrong expectations and not blaming outside forces (Ex,..I didn't know my Adjustable Rate Mortgage was going to increase my mortgage payment that much, "its the mortgage companies fault".......No, its your fault for now understanding the type of mortgage note you have, and the timing when it could change, understanding the maximum limit it could adjust by and having excess funds saved if and when it adjusts, thereby, your fault).
