Lol. The nasdaq came back to the tune of 100 points or so this week but much of the monies came from the dow. Somehow, as bad as I want a quick recovery, I can't help but feel a little ambivalent about a speedy recovery. They'll prolly be forced to steal a little from Medicaid. Basing the tax cut on income projections in a declining market just wasn't a very fiscally responsible decision.
Daschle did a nice job getting the health bill through. Think Bush has the balls to veto it? Given that his approval numbers are sagging I doubt it. If he's moping around licking his wounds this evening wait till his upcomming Energy Bill get's kicked around.
