I believe Linda Powers may reward those who have stuck with her through all of this after the dust has settled. She has the ability to do this and just like situations where family businesses might reward long term employees with bonuses based on the length of time with the business

Unfortunately, Linda Powers only has the ability (and I'll opine the willingness) to reward her limited partners at Toucan, which she already has done. See: Settlement with Cognate.

With minority shareholders (i.e,, those that are not insiders), long-term shareholders are no different than short term shareholders. Both are treated exactly the same, since they both own the same common shares. Therefore, those that benefit the most are the more recent shareholders who are receiving shares at very low share price at the expense of diluted long-term shareholders who have lost nearly all the value in their shares bought even a year or two ago.

Many shareholders have averaged down, but nobody is being rewarded for being a long-term shareholder. What Linda said in that statement (to me) is lip service and pure b.s.
