Does it matter?

First 10-min is still 10-min.

After reading your post I changed my chart from the usual 1-min interval to 10-min and saw that the first 10-min volume was nowhere near 6-mil.

So I thought that maybe you added the previous day's after-hours trade volume to the first 10-minutes volume of today.

Do you think that's it? I would tend to keep those two volumes separate because they mean distinctly different things about trader psychology.
