My thinking tells me that since the dividend will be payable in 2018...and tax changes Might occur...well...

there is a bit to extrapolate here...including

the timing of any "takeover attempts"...IDCC does have a very high $$$/shr in cash ya know...

a Special dividend of Size would definitely shake things up...

Of course, news including OPPO, Lenovo, ZTE Xioami, etc...would Really shake things up...
