Moments ago I got a fill for a couple of hundred EPD at $24.79. This brings my new total position to:

Units held: 1,000 units
Cost basis: 24.44/unit

This has me ahead a bit over $400 which is not bad considering I'd launched my position on November 14th or about three weeks ago.

I could not be more certain of the profit potential here. This becomes clearer in light of the fact that I've bought my units on margin. I'm carefully tracking results so that I can compare margin interest fees to income derived of future distributions and unit sales, should they occur in the relative rear term (six months or greater, probably).

My negotiated margin interest rate operates on a sliding scale with 5.7% being the rate when I utilize more than $50,000 margin. I'm currently using $53,000. Thus, the interest I'm being charged is well exceeded by the 7% being paid out to unitholders. Obviously capital appreciation if the prize for me as I'm hardly concerned with simply offsetting margin fees through yield.

More as we experience this journey together.
