mickeybritt: The terms for dismissal are covered in the agreement. Here is what was stated in the press release:

The agreement covers the 3G, 4G and 5G terminal unit products of LG and its affiliates and sets forth a royalty of cash payments to InterDigital as well as a process for the transfer of patents from LG to InterDigital. The parties have also agreed to terms for dismissal by InterDigital of the outstanding litigation among the parties and their affiliates.

“We are very happy to have resolved our licensing dispute with LG on mutually agreeable terms and look forward to a successful relationship with LG going forward.

Bt the numbers; It covers:
1. License agreement for 3-G, 4-G and 5-G
2. It covers a Royalty of Cash Payments to Interdigital
3. It covers as well a process for the transfer of patents from LG to IDCC
4. The parties have also agreed to terms for dismissal by InterDigital of the outstanding litigation among the parties and their affiliates.

Bottom line, IF LG gives us #1 znd #2 and #3, we will give LG #4. Perhaps there might be some MINOR considerations in the FULL AGREEMENT, but I don't see any big payment of cash or anything else.

The final statement in the press release “We are very happy to have resolved our licensing dispute with LG on mutually agreeable termsraps it up IMO.

BUT, knowing you, you will probably raise tons of issues with the press release.

SO, I say to you to contact Patrick and maybe he can explain it to you in terms you might understand. The press release casn cover only the highlights and key points of the agreement. The entire license agreement spells out ALL THE DETAILS, including Arbitration, Non Payment of periodic payments, renewal of any and/or all portions of each 'G' portion of the agreement, etc. etc. etc. etc.
