Although I agree that weed TV has the propensity of becoming the next MTV, like MTV, it will take years before it becomes a major network.
In that meantime, we must look short term for revenue. Pot cultivation and sales.
This is a renewable source of income. Every 3 1/2 months there is a new crop to sell. The profit potential is outa sight. That's why all Phase 2 approvals are necessary.
I'm sure Jeff will tell you how expensive it was to get MTV to be where it is today. The constant revenue from the pot sales side is necessary to feed Weed TVs' needs as they grow. Crop rotation will assure that the income generated will be steady. Growing in size will only bring in more $$$$ to feed the "beast".
Yes. The media side appears to be the main focus here. That is why it is essential to get the approvals here for phase 2. I have seen predictions of revenue in excess of $3M a month. Those $$$$ can go a long way to first, pay off all debt, then help grow the media machine.
This is what mgmt. can do now. It has focus and revenue can be predictable.
As for the Comcast settlement, that is just icing on the cake. Regardless of it's size, it is all pure speculation till it happens, as to size as well as what will be done with our new found windfall.
The mgmt. team gathered here is top notch in their respective fields. Google them if you haven't already. I have faith they will be making the right decisions.
I believe that 2018 will be gangbusters for the PPS, as much of what is currently "on the table", will be in operation. Those of us that have been in it for the long haul will be generously rewarded.
IMHO
