You are right, these big-government politicians and bureaucrats never let a good disaster go to waste do they - but use it to foster more regulations and more control over people's lives.

How many new lifesaving therapies are buried under mountains of FDA regulations and never see the light of day – only your friendly bureaucrat knows for sure.

The FDA's motto should be: “We're going to protect you, even if it kills you”.

This is why we need to push for the gutting of detrimental regulations that only make sense to the bureaucratic “mind”. These massive governmental agencies have become out-of-control fiefdoms, unaccountable to the people and outside of purview by our representatives.
