Highlights I got out of it Company is open to a merger with a larger company Collaboration with Lufthansa In discussions with other airlines, an oem (unnamed), and several "large organizations." Their "fflya" system integrated into a Lufthansa product http://www.fflya.com/ https://runwaygirlnetwork.com/2017/10/10/lhs-lht-combine-for-safer-powered-iridium-next-connected-boardconnect-portable/ Their system gets integrated into the airlines' app Revenue model is to give the system to the airline and receive revenue sharing via bookings and advertising. System is so cheap only one booking per flight will pay for it's use (see the fflya site for how the booking works)
Other thoughts: Since their internet connectivity does not permit streaming they are chasing the low cost carrier market none of whom have connectivity at the moment. If the LCCs could make money with broadband they'd have it already. Larger companies offering broadband inflight connectivity are busy chasing the premium airlines. The LCC market is wide open for IPTK products. If one LCC (low cost carrier) installed it to offer their passengers free wifi, sms and basic internet connectivity the others would have to follow, imo. Millions of passengers per year means there's some potential here. Negatives are they are late on their last 2 filings. They make money on their business jet installations but not enough to cover the expenses they are incurring trying to enter the airline market. But so far they are insider funded, no toxic financing.
