I am not aware of a database of historical controls in prodromal to mild AD patients

I think this board has Cures Act mania.

If AVXL tries to run another trial without a placebo arm they will be laughed off the exchange....but they are not dumb enough to try that. There will be a placebo arm.

The phase 2/3 trial has a 1 in gazillion chance of being sufficient for approval without real phase 3 trials with much higher numbers of patients. Best case is a positive phase 2/3 that can attract a partner that can run real trials.
